In this vital role the Associate Director, Commercial Analytics develops and delivers business insights for the Gout Business Unit and will be responsible for leading and managing an impactful team to provide critical insights and strategic recommendations to support the Gout BU. The successful candidate will use their background in business analytics to effectively collaborate cross-functionally with various internal and field-based stakeholders
Team Development and Management:Effectively lead and govern GBU Analytics team, providing structure and guidance for short and long term projects
Consistently prioritize key resources based on business need and impact
Emphasize team growth and development, providing consistent feedback and coaching for professional growth
Lead and manage GBU Analytics POD to identify high priority business issues and solve as a collective group
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, finance, and IT to ensure alignment and support for business initiatives and provide comprehensive solutions to critical business challenges
Provide analytical support for strategic decision-making processes and business planning activities.
Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business to elevate the role of the Analytics team in the organization
Develop and deliver actionable insights from commercial data to support the Gout Business Unit sales and marketing strategies
Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities within the data to drive business growth and improve market positioning
Effectively present analytical insights to key business leaders across the Gout and Rare Disease organization
Perform comprehensive data analysis using SQL, VBA, and Python to extract, clean, and manipulate data.
Manage and integrate different types of data, including HCP (Health Care Provider) data, patient data, and claims data.
Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all analyses and reports.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, finance, and IT, to ensure alignment and support for business initiatives.
Flexible Commuter position to Deerfield, Illinois office. You will work on-site 2-3 days a week.

Basic Qualifications:Doctorate degree and 3 years of data analytics experience
OR
Masters degree and 5 years of data analytics experience
OR
Bachelors degree and 7 years of data analytics experience
OR
Associates degree and 12 years of data analytics experience
OrHigh school diploma / GED and 14 years of data analytics experience
Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or an advanced degree (Master's or higher) in a related field such as Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or Life Sciences
Data analytics experience within the life sciences industry or consulting, preferably with a focus on commercial data
Proficiency in programming languages, including SQL, VBA, and Python
Extensive people-leading and team management experience
Strong experience in managing and analyzing HCP data, patient data, and claims data
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights
Experience with data visualization tools and management reporting development
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Thorough with a high level of accuracy and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Experience with gout products or rare disease market analytics
Familiarity with pharmaceutical sales and marketing processes

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is $170,443.00 to $197,659.00. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
