Position Brand Description:

The Formulation/ Prep Operations Team is a key part of the Operations in Lilly’s Indianapolis Parenteral Manufacturing site.  We manufacture and fill injectable parenteral products in state of the art facilities to supply patients around the world.  This position will work in a new building with a best in class, global production line. Operators will work with advanced industry technologies.  Operators will learn transferable skills from a global team and support key current and upcoming company products.

Key Objectives/Deliverables:

  • Operator Objectives
    • Ensure strict compliance with established policies/procedures (Safety, Production Procedures, Sanitization, Gowning, Etc.) Completion of training and qualifications to stay current and qualified to perform job.
    • Adhere to Parenteral Plant safety policies and procedures, contribute to a safe work environment
    • Perform sanitizations in classified areas to maintain the sterility of the area, operation, and product.
    • Adhere to standard operating procedures and current Good Manufacturing Practices to ensure quality of product
    • Document process steps on appropriate batch documentation following Good Documentation Practices
    • Setup and perform operations task in both aseptic and non-aseptic processes
    • Prepare Equipment using Good Manufacturing Practices utilizing current SOP's.
    • Formulate Parenteral Products that will be filled into syringes by the Filling Team.
    • Initial troubleshooting

                                                                                                                                                             

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma/GED
  • Completion of Post Offer Exam, or Completion of Work Simulation if applicable
  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. Lilly does not anticipate providing sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B or TN status) for this employment position
  • Minimum 3 Years Manufacturing Experience

Additional Information:

  • Shift varies with areas to support 24x7 operations
    • 8-hour days for training
    • Transition to night shift as schedule progresses forward
    • 12-hour nights (3-2-2-3) permanent shift
  • Some overtime work may be required
