Role Summary:
The VP, Global Head of Value and Access is an experienced and strategic leader who is responsible for developing and executing global value and access strategies to ensure optimal market positioning, pricing, and patient access solutions for our innovative products.
The person in this role has strong leadership skills, a broad understanding and deep experience of global pharmaceutical markets (US & global markets) and a proven track record of bringing products to market successfully.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
- Lead the development and implementation of global value and access strategies for all in-line and pipeline brands, including reimbursement, value proposition and messaging, payer management, channel management and distribution, patient support services and field reimbursement support; Manage the ongoing continuous reassessments and adaptation of such strategies
- Oversee health economics and outcomes research (HEOR), pricing, market access, and patient access initiatives worldwide
- Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Program Teams,
- Commercial, Medical Affairs, and other teams to integrate value and access considerations throughout product lifecycles
- Develop and communicate compelling value narratives and evidence packages for payers, health technology assessment (HTA) bodies, and other stakeholders
- drive evidence generation for payers, support disease awareness amongst payers, and develop payer-specific disease education to support project, program, and trial related educational and awareness activities
- Guide pricing strategies and contracting approaches to optimize product value and patient access globally
- Build and lead high-performing global and regional value and access teams
- Represent the company externally on value and access topics with payers, policymakers, and industry groups
- Stay abreast of evolving global pricing, reimbursement, and market access landscapes to inform company strategy
- Set, secure, monitor, and manage all associated budgets
- Deliver above in a positive and engaging work environment. Help develop personnel, teams and processes to support Dyne core values, and culture
- Serve as the global subject matter expert on industry-wide market access approaches and common practices
- Represent Dyne market access on key senior-level governance forums, working groups, and teams
- Understand and abide by global compliance regulations Ability to travel globally on a regular basis
Education and Skills Requirements:
- Advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, MD, or MBA) in a relevant field)
- 12+ years of experience in pharmaceutical/biotech industry with significant leadership experience in global value and access roles
- Deep understanding of global healthcare systems, pricing dynamics, and market access requirements
- Strong knowledge of health economics, outcomes research, and value demonstration methodologies
- Proven track record developing successful global access strategies for specialty and rare disease products
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to influence senior leadership
- Experience building and leading high-performing global teams
- Strategic mindset with ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments
