The Role

Moderna is at the vanguard of messenger RNA (mRNA) therapeutics, and we are in search of an accomplished Director of Consumer Marketing - Pediatrics to join our US Commercial team. This pivotal role entails crafting and executing groundbreaking consumer marketing strategies for our respiratory portfolio, with a focus on patient-centric initiatives. Your strategic vision will shape market activities that are instrumental in achieving commercial success. Working collaboratively with cross-functional partners, you will be the driving force behind campaigns that not only resonate with patients but also reinforce Moderna's commitment to delivering revolutionary therapies.

Heres What Youll Do

  • Develop and lead the execution of the pediatrics strategy within the consumer segment for the US Commercial organization.

  • Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to understand the pharmaceutical consumer landscape, including patient demographics and behaviors, market trends, and competitor strategies.

  • Translate insights into action through comprehensive and innovative plans to drive vaccination rates within appropriate populations.

  • Develop and manage robust brand strategies for our pharmaceutical products, establishing strong brand identities and messaging.

  • Create and manage educational campaigns to raise consumer awareness about diseases, treatments, and the benefits of Moderna's products, ensuring high levels of consumer engagement.

  • Maintain strict adherence to regulatory compliance, ensuring all marketing efforts align with industry regulations and ethical standards.

  • Lead cross-functional collaboration to ensure marketing strategies are integrated with broader business objectives.

  • Oversee the US Commercial consumer marketing budget for Pediatrics, effectively allocating resources and assessing the ROI of marketing initiatives.

  • Utilize digital marketing channels to enhance consumer reach and engagement.

  • Plan and execute comprehensive marketing campaigns, including advertising, promotions, and events to drive product awareness and consumer demand.

  • Employ data analytics to inform and refine marketing strategies based on consumer behavior insights.

  • Engage with external stakeholders to build advocacy and support for Moderna's products.

  • Coordinate the consumer marketing elements for new product launches, ensuring a successful market introduction and sustained support.

Heres What Youll Need (Minimum Qualifications)

  • A minimum of 10 years of marketing experience, with a preference for substantial experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industries.

  • A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in content development, campaign management, and strategic optimization based on data analytics.
