Job Description

OBJECTIVES/PURPOSE

The Evidence Generation Lead is pivotal in establishing and validating the market fit, reimbursement pathways, and value proposition of Takeda’s digital health products, data, and services. This role ensures that Takeda’s digital health solutions are not only innovative but also aligned with market needs and regulatory requirements, facilitating their successful commercialization and adoption. The objectives of this role include:

  • Identify and evaluate market opportunities and needs for digital health products and services.
  • Conduct thorough market research to understand trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape.
  • Collaborate with product teams to align product features and benefits with market demands.
  • Analyze and develop strategies for reimbursement and coverage of digital health products.
  • Engage with payers, regulatory bodies, and healthcare providers to understand reimbursement criteria and pathways.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and guidelines for reimbursement.
  • Define and communicate the value proposition of digital health products, data, or services.
  • Develop evidence-based materials to support the value proposition, including clinical and economic evidence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate evidence generation into product development and marketing strategies.
  • Lead the design and execution of studies to generate clinical and economic evidence.
  • Analyze data from clinical trials, real-world evidence, and other sources to support the value proposition.
  • Develop publications, presentations, and other materials to communicate evidence to stakeholders.
  • Work closely with product development, marketing, regulatory, and commercial teams to ensure evidence generation activities align with business goals.
  • Partner with external stakeholders, including academic institutions, research organizations, and healthcare providers, to conduct studies and generate evidence.
  • Act as a key point of contact for evidence generation within the organization, ensuring alignment and collaboration across teams.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify opportunities and needs for digital health products and services.
  • Evaluate market trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape to inform product development and strategy.
  • Collaborate with product management and marketing teams to align product features and benefits with market demands.
  • Develop and implement reimbursement strategies for digital health products.
  • Engage with payers and regulatory bodies to understand and navigate reimbursement pathways and criteria.
  • Prepare and submit necessary documentation to support reimbursement applications, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Define and articulate the value proposition of digital health products, data, or services.
  • Develop evidence-based materials, including clinical and economic evidence, to support the value proposition.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate evidence generation into product development and marketing strategies.
  • Design and execute studies to generate clinical and economic evidence for digital health products.

  • Lead the communication strategy for evidence generation activities, ensuring clear and effective dissemination of information to stakeholders.
  • Prepare and present findings from evidence generation activities to internal and external audiences.
  • Ensure that evidence generation activities are well-documented and align with Takeda’s standards and requirements.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve evidence generation methodologies and processes.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and best practices, applying them to drive innovation within the evidence generation function.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging team members to identify and implement enhancements.

EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:

Essential

  • Degree in Computer Science/Business Informatics or other relevant graduate degree required;
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in market research, reimbursement analysis, or evidence generation.
  • Proven track record in developing and executing evidence generation strategies.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry or any regulated field.
  • Expertise in market research methodologies and tools.
  • Deep understanding of reimbursement pathways and criteria in various markets.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present complex data.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and provide effective solutions promptly.
  • Ability to make autonomous decisions that serve the best interests of the business and Takeda.
  • Familiarity with software development processes and methodologies, particularly Agile.
  • Strong communication skills with ability to articulate and optimize design based on the value to the user and the business, lead ideation sessions and workshops;
  • Experience working in a life sciences environment and/or familiarity with Takeda strongly preferred.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

  • International Travel of up to 10% may be required from this position.

U.S. Base Salary Range:

$149,100.00 - $234,300.00

The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.

U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/or long-termincentives. U.S.based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others.
