SAP Security Analyst
The SAP Security Analyst role onsite in Indianapolis in our ERP Services Digital Platforms organization is a pivotal position that ensures the security and integrity of the company's SAP digital assets. This role involves the development and implementation of comprehensive security strategies and roadmaps tailored to safeguard the company's resources across various computing environments, including in-house systems, SaaS and cloud-based platforms. The Security Analyst is also responsible for maintaining stringent compliance standards and operational processes, with a continuous drive towards enhancing efficiency and reinforcing the company's defenses against evolving cyber threats. This role not only contributes to the robustness of Lilly's global SAP infrastructure but also supports the company's dynamic business development initiatives by ensuring a secure and reliable digital ecosystem.
Key Objectives/Deliverables
Influence the security architecture and roadmap for global SAP systems through close collaboration with IT architects, business leaders and IT organizations to ensure that the security measures align with the company's strategic goals.
Ensure global G&A security design and controls remain compliant with government regulations and corporate procedures / guidelines while also allowing business to operate efficiently.
Lead security technical design for new technologies and for changes to business processes and ensure high quality testing and implementation.
Responsible for influencing and evolving security understanding throughout the organization.
Partner with vendor(s) to achieve reliable and repeatable solutions for change management, problem management, incident management and service request management.
Translate security requirements into implementation specifications consistent with overall design.
Participate in audits representing the security design, implementation and support processes.
Basic Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a stem related field
1+ years of understanding of security controls that enables global Financial, Supply Chain and HR business processes.
1+ years of ITIL based IT support with experience in Incident Management, Problem Management and Change Management.
Additional Preferences
Proven ability to embrace a growth mindset: view challenges as opportunities to expand skills.
Understanding of SOx controls.
Configuration experience in SAP Identity Management or equivalent software packages.
Hands on configuration experience with GRC Access Control or Process Control.
1+ years of understanding of security tools and frameworks (SAP IdM/GRC) necessary to support global operations of IT and SAP including roster review processes.
1+ years of experience understanding the legal, regulatory and data privacy environments in which the Company operates.
Experience designing changes and improvements to SAP role structure.
Technical experience on SAP ABAP and JAVA role architecture and design.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with those outside of the immediate area.
