Senior Scientist- Immunoscreening

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Scientist to join the Immunoscreening group within the Therapeutic Proteins department. In this exciting role, you will directly contribute to the identification of potential therapeutic antibodies, in-vitro characterizations, and selection process of the lead molecules in early discovery stage.

As a Senior Scientist, a typical day might include the following:

• Designing and carrying out recombinant protein or cell-based assays with medium to high throughput capacity to identify and assess therapeutic antibodies

• Driving and completing the design of a target-specific antibody screening plan

• Compiling multifaced screening results based on desirable properties and reporting findings and potential lead antibodies to a cross-functional team in a timely and effective manner

• Staying up to date with target-related biology and supporting technology development to improve the sensitivity and throughput of antibody screening and characterization assays

• Mentoring and training junior scientists

In order to be considered for this role, you must have Ph.D. degree and 0-3+ years or a BS/MS with 8-10+ years of relevant experience in biochemistry, cell biology, immunology, or a related field. Must have extensive experience in developing in-vitro recombinant protein or cell-based assays from scratch (including but not limited to flow cytometry, high-content imaging, receptor-ligand signaling assays, AlphaLISA, HTRF, single molecule analysis, and single cell analysis, microfluidics) with a proven record of publication. Experience in developing new technology platform is a plus.
