Job Details
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Scientist to join the Immunoscreening group within the Therapeutic Proteins department. In this exciting role, you will directly contribute to the identification of potential therapeutic antibodies, in-vitro characterizations, and selection process of the lead molecules in early discovery stage.
As a Senior Scientist, a typical day might include the following:
Designing and carrying out recombinant protein or cell-based assays with medium to high throughput capacity to identify and assess therapeutic antibodies
Driving and completing the design of a target-specific antibody screening plan
Compiling multifaced screening results based on desirable properties and reporting findings and potential lead antibodies to a cross-functional team in a timely and effective manner
Staying up to date with target-related biology and supporting technology development to improve the sensitivity and throughput of antibody screening and characterization assays
Mentoring and training junior scientists

In order to be considered for this role, you must have Ph.D. degree and 0-3+ years or a BS/MS with 8-10+ years of relevant experience in biochemistry, cell biology, immunology, or a related field. Must have extensive experience in developing in-vitro recombinant protein or cell-based assays from scratch (including but not limited to flow cytometry, high-content imaging, receptor-ligand signaling assays, AlphaLISA, HTRF, single molecule analysis, and single cell analysis, microfluidics) with a proven record of publication. Experience in developing new technology platform is a plus.
