Overview

The Associate Director, HCP Marketing will be a key member of the Brand team for Insmed's in-line rare disease respiratory product and will be responsible for the development and execution of strategies and tactics to ensure the brand's success. In collaboration with cross-functional partners, this position will develop plans and utilize appropriate tools and tactics to lead HCP multichannel/non-personal brand initiatives. As with all Insmed employees, this individual must put our patients first and champion their needs. All employees must serve as Insmed cultural ambassadors, contributing to the reinforcement and ongoing growth of our culture. This position will report to the Senior Director, HCP and Payer Lead. This position does not have any direct reports. This is a hybrid role which includes regular in-person with purpose meetings. Only candidates who have direct marketing experience in the biopharmaceutical industry will be considered for this role.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the strategy for the brand's non-personal promotional efforts with HCPs
  • Effectively deliver of key messages to customers through both traditional and innovative channels
  • Optimize tactics and media mix based on comprehensive measurement plan
  • Coordinate within and across marketing teams to address overlap between customers and brands
  • Additional responsibilities will include, but not necessarily be limited to, the following:
    • Manage the brand's media agency
    • Work closely with cross-functional partners including Legal, Regulatory, Compliance, and Medical Affairs, to align and compliantly execute key tactical activities
    • Work closely with the financial business partner to manage spend to budget
  • Ensure culture of compliance
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years pharmaceutical experience in brand management/marketing in the biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry preferred
  • Experience in HCP non-personal promotion preferred
  • Experience in managing external partners (e.g. consultants, agencies)
  • Proven ability to develop exceptional relationships and have an impact on or appropriately influence others
  • Orphan or rare disease experience a plus (pulmonary preferred)
  • A track record of developing and implementing marketing strategies and tactics that have delivered strong commercial results
  • Successful track record of U.S. product launch experience also preferred
  • Demonstrated success in working with cross-functional, high-performance teams
  • Highly learning agile
  • Demonstrated peer leadership skills
  • Must have excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and project management skills
  • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail, clarity, accuracy and conciseness
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Individuals must demonstrate the ability to interact successfully in a dynamic and culturally diverse workplace

Salary Range
