Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a lead engineer for new oral dosage product process development, scaling and transfer from R&D to global manufacturing plants/TPMs.
  • Provide technical expertise to marketed products. Responsible for the implantation of technical projects and providing direction for the technical team.
  • Design and execute lab and commercial scale experiments for product and process development, improvement an/optimization. Demonstrates high proficiency across a wide range of relevant technologies.
  • Formulate technical sound conclusion and/or design follow-on experiments based on multidisciplinary data. Present scientific concept and results to cross functional stakeholders
  • Demonstrate scientific initiative and creativity in research or development activities. Adapts and integrates newer approaches and technologies that are scientifically meaningful, reliable, and can be incorporated directly into a research or development program.
  • Author of internal and external publications, presentations as well as CMC related regulatory documents.
  • Maintain a high level of productivity in the lab and/or pilot plant.
  • Understand and adhere to corporate standards regarding code of conduct, safety, appropriate handling of materials, GxP compliance, and animal care where applicable.

Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent education and typically 10 years of experience, Masters Degree or equivalent education and typically 8 years of experience, PhD and no experience necessary.
  • Strong engineering background and communication (writing and presentation) skill. High self-motivated.
  • Solid oral dosage process development experience is highly preferred.

  • This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentive programs.
