Job Description

About the role:

Manage non-GxP training, including the configuration and strategy of the Learning Management System (LMS). Oversee functional training reports and support local training assignments to ensure comprehensive training and development within the Vaccine Business Unit.

Business Operations Support: Ensure the effective management of the Vaccine Business Unit by providing business operations support. Develop and implement new Business Operating Procedures, and lead the development and execution of strategic work plans and communication strategies to achieve business objectives.

Ethics & Compliance Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for Ethics & Compliance (E&C) inquiries locally. Implement local E&C initiatives, provide guidance on relevant policies, resolve operational tasks, and conduct training sessions to enhance understanding of E&C topics. Build and coordinate a local Values Ambassador network.

How you will contribute:

Training support

  • Non-GxP training lead, responsibilities over management, configuration, and strategy of the LMS system includingfunctional training reports to the Vaccine Business Unit globally.

Business Operations support

  • Provide business operations support to ensurehighlyeffective management of the Vaccine Business Unit.

  • Develop new Business Operating Procedures or ensureeffectiveimplementation of the business operating model for VBU.

  • Business Operations Council (BOC) Secretary.

  • Lead throughcompletion the development of workplans, communication strategies, and execution of deliverables that drive toward goal achievement for strategic projects thatalign with the business objectives in areasincluding, butnot limited to, policies and procedures, and employee training

E&C advisor (compliance support – on the job training can be provided)

  • Provide support as a ‘first point of contact’ for E&Cquestionslocally. Collaborate with VBU E&C head and escalatetopicsasneeded.

  • Implementlocalinitiatives/information sharing/campaigns to enable E&C in site.

  • Provideadvice in response to simple queries raised (e.g., direct people to relevant policies, processes etc.).

  • Resolveoperational tasks, e.g., simple GEARS requests (escalateothers).

  • Runlocal sessions to help build knowledge and understanding of E&C relatedtopics.

  • Build and coordinate a localValues Ambassador network.

  • Support with local training assignments and coordination

CORE ELEMENTS RELATED TO THIS ROLE:

  • Prior training experiencerequired.

  • Proficient in Sucess Factors LMS (Learning Management Systems) required.

  • Proactiveability to predictissues and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to articulate and establishprocesseswhich impact cross-functionally.

  • Ability to organize and host meetings for global audiences utilizingalltechnologiesavailable.

  • Ability to prepare and delivercompellingpresentations for Senior Management and Executive level audience.

  • Ability to drive decision-making within a cross-functional and cross-cultural, global team structure.

  • Ability to seek diverse input from multiple constituents and stakeholders to drive innovative solutions.

  • Ability to work in a global ecosystem (internal and external) with a high degree of complexity.

  • Proven skills in negotiations, influencingthroughout the matrix, leadingthroughambiguity, and working diplomaticallythroughconflict.

  • Requires the flexibility and tolerance to best managechange and differing opinions with diplomacy and competence.

  • Effectivepresentation skills – create and deliverpresentations with appropriate messaging and focusedrecommendations.

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.

  • Proficient use of Microsoft SharePoint, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or science isrequired.

  • Masters degree in business administrationisstronglypreferred.

  • Minimum 7+ years with business relatedexperience in the industry.

  • Effectivepresentation skills – create and deliverpresentations with appropriate messaging and focusedrecommendations.

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.

  • Familiarity with Vaccines and anotherrelevantpharma or biotech is a plus.

  • Proficient use of Microsoft SharePoint, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

U.S. Base Salary Range:

$133,000.00 - $209,000.00

The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.

U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/or long-termincentives. U.S.based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others. U.S.based employees are also eligible to receive, per calendar year, up to 80 hours of sick time, and new hires are eligible to accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
