We are seeking a dynamic and diligent Communications Associate to join our global communications team. This role will support the development and execution of internal communication strategies that engage and inform employees across our global offices. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling, excellent writing skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

The Associate, Global Employee Communications will develop content and coordinate content strategy for global and U.S. internal channels, identify ways to improve quality (both content and process), and collaborate with colleagues across communications and the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate content strategy and guidelines for LillyNow news and other internal channels such as LillyTV and Viva Engage, to find efficiencies, improve collaboration across communications, and maintain focus on top business priorities.
  • Write and edit content for U.S. and global internal channels in partnership with other Enterprise Communications team members.
  • Develop internal communication plans in partnership with and under the supervision of the senior director of global employee communications and other team members.
  • Collaborate across enterprise communications to identify new creative approaches to engage employees.
  • Support enterprise communications with writing assignments and other communication activities (e.g., videos, town halls).
  • Act as the primary contact and specialist for the LillyTV system.

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in journalism, communications, public relations or related field
  • 3 years of relevant experience
  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. Lilly does not anticipate providing sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B or TN status) for this employment position.
