The Opportunity

The Senior HRMS Associate II will a subject matter expert and key member to implement and maintain an HRMS, and any other HR Technology Platforms considered on behalf of the HR function. In addition, this role will participate in a variety of HR initiatives, leveraging the technology to automate, track, measure and report data in a meaningful way. In addition, the Senior HRMS will participate in HR operational activities as it pertains to talent acquisition, benefits, onboarding, talent management, compensation and training & development. This position will work cross-functionally with the HR Business Partner organization as well as divisions such as G&A, Research, Development and Commercial Operations, as needed.

What You Will Contribute

  • Operate as the SME for the HRMS implementation, maintenance and enhancements including various modules including Core HR, ATS, Learning & Development, Talent Management, Compensation and Benefits modules.
  • Liaise with HRMS provider to access technical support, troubleshooting and guidance to HRMS users, with an eye towards self-service.
  • In collaboration with the HRBP colleagues and business leaders, leverage automated workstreams where possible to leverage system capabilities.
  • Create dashboards and reports to help track, measure, dashboard and reports for analysis, prediction and planning.
  • Evaluate longer-term solutions for the business which may include HRMS integrations and system enhancements.
  • Develop and execute a plan for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the data within the HRMS, including collaborating with IT to manage user permissions and support data integrity.
  • Guide HR Team in file management, naming convention, workstream documentation, and shared folders; serve as a resource for developing and maintaining project plans in SmartSheet as needed.
  • Initiate plan and resources for a self-service model for the employee population; develop and implement training for the HR Staff and the employee population.
  • Participate in onboarding new hires as we aggressively hire; responsibilities include notifying other departments, preparation, and knowledge of 90-day orientation program, benefit offerings, compliance training, and other on-boarding programming in place.

What We Seek

  • BA/BS or equivalent years of experience in Business, Human Resources, or a related field. Minimum of 5+ years HRMS experience and some broad-based HR exposure, including interactions with senior management and HR colleagues.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry required.
  • Local presence preferred to have frequent interactions with HR Team and Avidity colleagues.
  • Prior experience with notable HRMS implementation and maintenance, including deep Applicant Tracking Systems. Experience with ADP Workforce Now a plus.
  • Experience working for a publicly traded company and knowledge of SOX regulations affecting HRMS is a plus.
  • Knowledge of current best practices within the HRMS discipline in addition to federal, state and local employment-related regulations.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate within a business team; approachable and effective communicator with people across all levels in the organization.
  • Strong interpersonal and written, verbal and presentation communication skills, with the ability to develop a high degree of personal credibility across client groups. Ability to train and teach others in systems, processes and solutions.
  • Proven ability to analyze issues, determine root cause and problem solve in a collaborative, cross-function team environment.
  • Technology savvy with the ability to implement technology platforms. Must have extensive skills, knowledge and abilities with computers and Microsoft Office applications, SmartSheet, and the desire to evaluate AI as a tool for the department.
 What We will Provide to You:
  • The base salary range for this role is $132,400-146,300. The final compensation will be commensurate with such factors as relevant experience, skillset, internal equity and market factors.
