Executive Director, Business Excellence & Ops

The Executive Director Business Excellence & Operations leads a team of COEs and Shared Services to deliver value and outcomes to markets, optimizing business outcomes through technology, common platforms, and streamlined cross-functional processes. This role requires strategic vision and operational expertise to design and implement commercial digital capabilities. These commercial capabilities deliver value to above-market and in-market teams via COE and Shared Service models. This leader is highly influential on the global commercial organization – setting commercial tech roadmap, managing platform operations, enabling leading digital capabilities to enable commercial digital transformation. The Executive Director Business Excellence & Operations will be responsible for communicating and collaborating with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Market Access, and I&T leadership, including regional and affiliate leaders and will represent Commercial in I&T EPC. This leader will have a span of influence across CSL B/V/S.

Main Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

• Leads, sustains and enables the vision of the organization to build world-class digital customer engagement capabilities via strategic leadership of the commercial technology roadmap and key capabilities. • The head is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of capabilities including technology platforms, content supply chain, digital customer engagement, omnichannel strategy, training, transparency and meetings & congresses. • This leader is developing the pathway to prioritize and implement commercial digital channels that will unlock new ways to engage customers and positively impact revenue. It requires strategic vision and leadership to deliver• Drive value creation from operational and digital platform capabilities and functions portfolio decision-making, product launches and affiliate effectiveness.• Lead the organization to establish centers of excellence and platform functions that unlock efficiency and scale in the business through standardization and synchronization of capabilities across the markets.

Qualifications & Experience Requirements:

• 12 plus years experience in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry.

• Strong interpersonal skills to quickly build rapport and credibility with CSL leaders and key external stakeholders. • Knowledge of relevant business, legal, compliance and regulatory requirements• Multiple years' experience leading and managing teams in an international environment and with matrixed, cross-functional teams• Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building abilities• Familiarity with global regulations and cultural nuances
