Job Description

About the Role:

As the Digital Delivery Project Manager, you will lead cross-functional teams and programs consisting of multiple projects and work streams of varying complexity to deliver DD&T initiatives within a pharmaceutical manufacturing plant. You will report to the Head of Data, Digital & Technology.

How you will contribute:
  • Prioritize DD&T initiatives based on business value

  • Plan solutions to achieve identified objectives and drive program achievement

  • Interface with senior GMS/GQ DD&T management and GMS/GQ business stakeholders to influence decision-making on projects

  • Manage a matrix team of internal or contractors on a project-by-project basis

  • Maintain project timeframes, budget estimates, and status reports for projects or programs within area of accountability

  • Coordinate and manage project team members, develop schedules, and individual responsibilities to deliver on project commitments

  • Partner with DD&T and business area leaders across multiple functions to identify and plan major programs and projects

  • Initialize and plan programs consisting of multiple projects and work streams of varying complexity spanning multiple locations

  • Assure appropriate prioritization and alignment with the organization's strategy and direction, allocating resources for development

  • Direct and coach team members to meet business needs

  • Ensure program/project governance aligns with technology strategy/roadmaps and enterprise plans

  • Drive processes for budget and resource allocation for programs/projects

  • Contribute to global policies for program and project governance, planning, delivery, and oversight

  • Monitor the market for emerging PMO knowledge and implement best practices

  • Lead Digital CoP and maintain Digital roadmap

  • Enhance awareness of DD&T role through several communication channels

  • Have a understanding of strategic technologies, best practices, and regulations including MES, Historian, Analytics, Data Integrity, Digital Transformation, IOT, Smart Devices, Industry 4.0, Informatics, Business to Plant Integration.

    What you bring to Takeda:
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, Masters degree preferred

    • Certified project management professional (PMP or Prince 2)

    • 7+ years relevant experience leading highly visible, complex IT programs/projects including management of full lifecycle implementations

    • Excellent analytical skills to handle issues that occur during project completion and keep projects on track within budget.

    • Experience formulating, organizing, and monitoring inter-connected projects

    • Experience partnering with leaders to plan and deliver programs and projects with limited or competing resources (time, budget, people)

    • In-depth pharmaceutical manufacturing industry experience (GxP shop floor)

    • Prior exposure to pharmaceutical manufacturing regulations and quality assurance/control

    Important Considerations:

    U.S. Base Salary Range:

    $108,500.00 - $170,500.00

    The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.

    U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/or long-termincentives. U.S.based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others. U.S.based employees are also eligible to receive, per calendar year, up to 80 hours of sick time, and new hires are eligible to accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
