Job Description

Purpose

Accountable for Supporting AbbVie Procurement and Contract Lifecycle Management continuous improvement initiatives, system integrations and best practices across the company. The Analyst will also be responsible for driving implementation of Procurement and Supplier Management (PSM) processes at all sites as well as supporting training and education of appropriate tools and techniques within and outside the PSM organization. Develop and establish relationships between business functions to implement contract administration processes and minimize process gaps. This position provides a single point of contact to PSM Purchasing Professionals for contract collection and management programs, delivering superior service and value aligned to business needs for contract management.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to Procurement contract management programs; lead company integration contract collection activities across PSM, identify new opportunities and streamline contract collection and contract data management processes within PSM to drive greater efficiency, agility, innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Generate metrics, steering committee reports and actionable reports supporting contract collection and contract data migration and communicate with Manager, and other relevant organizations driving awareness and process sustainability.
  • Effectively support contract collection and data integration team to achieve outcomes that mitigate risk, enable process efficiency and support contract management.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to support PSM strategic contract imperatives.
  • Primary resource for interacting with company integration contract collection team.
  • Support and provide input to Risk Management, Corporate Disbursements Operations (CDO,) Finance,
    Office of Ethics and Compliance (OEC), Procure to Pay (PTP) and Quality as they develop policies, systems and activities that interface with Procurement contract collection functions.
  • Build collaborative relationships with PSM Professionals, contract collection and data integration team, business stakeholders, etc. to adapt holistic approach to support contract management programs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree required, preferably in business administration, paralegal studies or related
  • Must be results-oriented change agent, who is an effective business process thinker with the ability to lead and direct a change process to assess and assist with implementation of appropriate action plans.
  • Ability to influence, negotiate, and resolve conflicts to reach consensus in a timely manner around common goals.
  • Solid Project management, team facilitation and problem solving skills to effect change are vital for this position in addition to the ability to communicate effectively with all organizational levels to maintain relationships and corporation I pursuing the Abbvie Procurement and Supplier Management goals.
  • Understands challenges and utilizes innovation to drive value.
  • Strong knowledge of contract language, terms and conditions, with the ability to quickly identify key contract data.
  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • 3+ years of process improvement/project management
