Job Description

The Head of Cybersecurity Planning & Oversightwill play a pivotalrole in enhancing the organization's cybersecurity posture by focusing on three key pillars: Cybersecurity Awareness, Portfolio Excellence, and Vendor Management. This senior leadership position entailscomprehensive management of training and awarenessprograms to foster a culture of cybersecurity throughout the organization. Youwillprovidestrategicoversight and meticulous management of the cybersecurity programs, ensuring cost-effective and efficientallocation of resources. Additionally, youwilloversee and managevendorrelationships, ensuringthatallthird-party engagements align with the organization'sstandards and contribute to a robust cybersecurity framework.

  • Oversee the development and administration of the cybersecurity budget, ensuring accurate tracking, reporting, and optimization of financialresources.

  • Providestrategicdirection for budget planning, allocation, and monitoring to support cybersecurity initiatives and projects.

  • Managevendorrelationships, includingselection, contractnegotiation, performance evaluation, and compliance with cybersecurity standards.

  • Ensurethatallthird-party vendorsadhere to the organization's cybersecurity policies and requirements, mitigatingpotential risks.

  • Collaborate with business units and functionalcouncils to ensure cybersecurity considerations are integratedintoalldigital and technologicalinitiatives.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for cybersecurity-relatedcommunications and change management within the organization.

  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of cybersecurity awareness, budget management, and vendor performance.

  • Provide regular reports and updates to senior leadership on the status of cybersecurity awarenessprograms, budget performance, and vendor management activities.

  • Develop, implement, and managecomprehensive cybersecurity training and awarenessprograms to enhanceorganizationalunderstanding and practices.

  • Lead cybersecurity awarenessinitiatives, campaigns, and events to foster a security-conscious culture acrossall business units.

    Essentials Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Program Management, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role.

    • Proven experience in developing and managing cybersecurity budgets, including cost optimization and financial planning.

    • Demonstrated experience in managing vendor relationships, including contract negotiation, performance evaluation, and compliance monitoring.

    • Experience in developing and leading cybersecurity training and awareness programs across diverse business units.

    Desirable Qualifications

    • Advanced degree (Master’s or MBA) in a related field.

    • In-depth knowledge of current cybersecurity technologies, trends, and best practices.

    • Experience in leading change management initiatives within a cybersecurity context.

    • Understanding of relevant cybersecurity regulations, standards, and compliance requirements.

    • Experience in developing Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) for cybersecurity programs and initiatives.

    • Strong strategic thinking and leadership skills to drive cybersecurity initiatives and align them with organizational goals.

    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey complex cybersecurity concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

    • Strong inter personnel skills and ability to influence outcomes in the collaborative environment

    • Strong program management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and deliver results on time and within budget.

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess risks, evaluate vendor performance, and measure the effectiveness of cybersecurity programs.

    • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

U.S. Base Salary Range:

$205,100.00 - $322,300.00

The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.

U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/or long-termincentives. U.S.based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others. U.S.based employees are also eligible to receive, per calendar year, up to 80 hours of sick time, and new hires are eligible to accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
