I.    JOB SUMMARY 
The Supply Chain Data Analytics Sr. Specialist assists in development and maintenance of the Supply Chain governance and Analytics solutions, leading to effective analytics and project / portfolio management. The role also assists with gathering and progressing analytics and reporting requests for Supply Chain analytics, generating monthly metrics and reports, and supporting and improving the delivery mechanisms for reports and metrics. In addition, this resource will assist with IT facing ticket management to ensure priority tickets are handled accordingly, through managing and improving the ticket monitoring process from the non-IT side.

Project Governance:
•    Support to manage, administer, design, develop, perform project reviews with senior leaders
•    Develop and maintain Smartsheet and Business Intelligence (BI) solutions to serve global project needs 
•    Entry and maintenance of Smartsheet and BI project data as needed: changes, new projects, new milestones, etc.
•    Presentation of project status reviews to leadership team using standardized review tools in Smartsheet.
•    Assist with upgrades and improvements to Smartsheet and BI project solution
•    Assist with training and communicate expectations and obligations of the governance tool and process

 

Analytics & Reporting:
•    Generate monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) from source data by performing documented steps of data manipulation, upload, and Power BI steps.
•    Administer and maintain data for request and delivery process for KPI, metrics, and reporting. 
•    Follow up with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and IT support staff to ensure dates and commitments are met with respect to delivery of metrics and reporting. Track and 
        follow up on request status, identify / line up resources to ensure the job gets done.
•    Assist with new KPI generation: collect & document requirements, inputs, exclusions, to build KPI generation logic. Could possibly help develop KPI and reports using 
        Power BI.
•    Work with SMEs and leaders to develop reporting guidelines and assist in the collection, development, and documentation of standardized reporting across systems.
•    Assist with training and communicate expectations and obligations of the analytics tools and process.

 

Tickets administration:
•    Assist in development and implementation of ticket monitoring process for IT ticket performance.
•    Administer ticket monitoring and follow up process: contact SMEs and IT resources to get status and progress tickets to resolution. Assign priorities as needed to 
        ensure attention is given to appropriate tickets.
•    Meet with requesters and IT as needed to progress resolution.

III. MINIMUM EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS

 

Education
•    Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management or other related field.

 

Experience & Skills
•    Minimum 5 years’ experience in Data Analytics operations 
•    SAP, Smartsheet and Power BI experience preferred.
•    Experience in Continuous Improvement, Visual management, and Lean principles / concepts.  Comfortable with process mapping and value stream management.
•    Must lead by example through strong work ethics and high standards.
•    Proficient with computer applications such as Microsoft Suite, Power BI, etc.
•    Works well within teams, able to lead meetings with customers, stakeholders, and consultants across all phases of project lifecycle.
•    Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.  Activities address    
        various aspects of engineering and related areas.
•    Excellent written, verbal communication skills with comfort in presenting ideas, updates, and requests.
•    Experience with leading teams through process improvement initiatives and implementing those solutions.
•    Experience in matrixed work environments.
•    Experience with implementing process and system changes, especially within a pharmaceutical environment.
•    Able to interface with leadership and individual contributors.
