Job Details
We are currently looking to fill a Sr Manufacturing Planning Specialist position. Regeneron successfully manufactures a range of biopharmaceuticals for patients worldwide, including our approved therapeutic proteins and those involved in clinical studies. Our Sr Manufacturing Planning Specialist performs tasks related to the planning of global manufacturing operations, tracking and analysis of production metrics, coordination of non-manufacturing activities such as maintenance and validation, and analyzing multi-site production capacity.
In this role, a typical day might include the following:
Translate demand forecasts into executable production plans, identifying and escalating conflicts
Create production plans for multiple products in an efficient manner, including multiple draft scenarios for leadership consideration
Proactively identify issues and recommend solutions when they arise to minimize disruption to production and supply needs
Lead or assist in planning cross-functional activities with both manufacturing and non-manufacturing groups
Act as the point of contact for production data to several cross-functional departments such as supply planning, finance, engineering/facilities, and quality assurance
Create routine informational reports distributed to a cross-functional audience
Perform data collection and analysis related to production activities
Create and maintain business tools and data models using spreadsheets, code, or other relevant methods
Lead or assist efforts improving communication and collaboration between different functional groups and levels of the organization
Participate in production-impactful change management efforts, including helping to determine windows of implementation to minimize rework, increase efficiency and provide the most value to the business
Act as the primary point-of-contact/subject matter expert for assigned program or area of specialty
Build and maintain relationships with cross-functional departments
Act as the project manager for small projects and initiatives

Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate information with attention to detail and accuracy
Background in data analytics or relevant data science field
Experience working both independently as an original thinker and in a team setting
Ability to exhibit a degree of ingenuity, creativity and resourcefulness in evolving and ambiguous
Strong communication skills and the ability to present complex data

BS/BA in Science, Engineering, or a related field and 2+ years of relevant experience
To be considered for the Sr Manufacturing Planning Specialist position, you must have:
BS/BA in Science, Engineering, or a related field and 5+ years of relevant experience
