Overview
In this exciting role you will report to the Executive Director, Talent Acquisition, and will lead activities to attract, recruit, and hire top talent for Insmed. You will be responsible for establishing strategies, processes and programs to enable quality-focused talent acquisition for assigned functional areas within Insmed. This is a hands-on role requiring sourcing, screening, networking, pipelining and interviewing of potential candidates. In addition, you will be accountable for establishing and developing effective working relationships with the business leaders (and other key stakeholders such as HR Business Partners, Total Rewards and Diversity and Inclusion) to develop, lead, and manage the staffing process; and there may be future opportunity to provide day-to-day guidance to other team members. Location We are open to considering the following for this position: if you live locally near our Bridgewater, NJ headquarters you can choose to work primarily from home and are expected to come on-site when requested or required for a meeting and/or event. We will also consider out of state candidates who would generally travel overnight for certain meetings or events in Bridgewater or to our other sites as needed.
Responsibilities
Your Responsibilities as Associate Director, Talent Acquisition (R&D)
• Responsible for proactively sourcing candidates through internal and external channels (i.e., applicant tracking system, social media, function-specific websites), networking, pipelining, employee referrals, internal movement and other creative sourcing venues for assigned requisitions
• Screens and recommends qualified candidates to hiring managers and provides leadership and thought partnership to hiring managers, business partners and HR Partners by acting as the internal staffing consultant
• Builds relationships across all departments and functions within Insmed to share internal and external talent
• Demonstrates an understanding and knowledge of industry information and competitive landscape
• Responsible for embedding process, tools and systems within the business in order to improve hiring process
• Delivers high quality work and demonstrates operational excellence through utilization of recruiting tools and resources; ensures quality and integrity of metrics through discipline in process
• Develops and reviews regular recruiting metrics and reports
• Responsible for finalizing offer process, inclusive of reference checks, background screens and compensation requirements
• Responsible for intake, alignment and debrief meetings with hiring managers and interview team
• Commits to supporting and driving key business and functional initiatives and achieving goals
• Gathers feedback from internal stakeholders and utilizes feedback to drive quality and effectiveness
• TA projects as assigned
Here are the Qualifications You Will Bring as Associate Director, Talent Acquisition (R&D)
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in Talent Acquisition is required.
• A minimum 6+ years in the biotech/pharma industry is required.
• Thorough knowledge of applicant tracking systems, internet-based recruiting and behavioral-based interview techniques is also required.
• Proven experience building, evaluating and leading teams and projects; advanced relationship management skills
• Experience supporting Research & Development is preferred.
• Prior experience managing a team of corporate recruiters is preferred.
• Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems is required, experience with iCIMS is a plus.
• Ability to establish strong business partner relationships and to communicate at all levels in a clear and concise manner is critical.
• Prior experience successfully navigating a fast-paced, changing environment is needed.
• Highly organized with a strong attention to detail, clarity, accuracy and conciseness.
• Individuals must demonstrate the ability to interact successfully in a dynamic and culturally diverse workplace.

Salary Range
$139,000 - $195,200 a yearCompensation & Benefits
