About the Department                                                                                                                                               

You will be joining Fill & Finish Expansions (FFEx), which is responsible for all major expansion activities within aseptic production, solid dosage forms, finished products, fill & finish warehousing, and QC across all production areas in Product Supply. The area is anchored in Product Supply, Quality & IT, which globally employ approx. 20,000 of Novo Nordisk’s 50,000 employees.

 

FFEx is a newly established and growing area with the responsibility to design, plan, and build all new aseptic filling capacity across Novo Nordisk to serve the needs of millions of patients. We do it by rethinking our production facilities with the use of modern technology, as we are setting the standards for the aseptic production of the future. Facilities designed today which we will still be proud of 20 years from now. FF Expansions has a global approach, where you will be working with multiple sites and cultures across the world.

The Position

Develop analytical solutions to establish the next level of analytics through building data models utilizing visualization tools. Key purpose is to ensure conversion of data into various insights for decision-making.

Essential Functions

  • Supports data analysis to develop data visualization solutions through data acquisition and transformation load/information delivery solutions catering to various data needs of Novo Nordisk
  • Improve site capability by providing data analysis to all business processes by analyzing and improving the flow of information (into, out of, and through)
  • Develop and provide solutions aligned with site strategies and compliant with the company’s architectural and operating standards/requirement
  • Analyzes user requirements and improve existing systems or recommend and implement new technologies to meet customer needs and add value to all business processes
  • Recommend and develop improvements in data visualization to drive site-wide acceptance/use of designated data analytic tools for problem identification, process improvement and KPI trending
  • Follow all quality requirements in the performance of duties, including compliance with FDA regulations and guidelines as they relate to computer-based information systems
  • Follow all safety and environmental requirements in the performance of duties

    Physical Requirements

    Ability to work in an open office environment with the possibility of frequent distraction. Ability to travel up to 10% of the time. (% can change on a case-by-case basis based on the role.)

     

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Data Science, Business Analytics, Engineering, or related field from an accredited university required
  • Minimum of three (3) years of business intelligence experience required, to include analyzing user requirements, building data models, recommending systems, and implementing evolving technology
  • Experience with data analytic solutions including, but not limited to: Tableau, Alteryx, Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, etc.) RPA/RDA
  • Knowledge of FDA regulations and guidelines as related to computer-based information systems required
  • Knowledge of SAP preferred
  • Proven results and advanced ability for using data to generate insights and enable intelligent decision-making for key stakeholders
  • Demonstrated skills in identifying and leading small to medium scale improvement projects required
  • Ability to apply a broad range of expertise of principles, methods, practices, standards, procedures, and compliance requirements of a particular business function in designing and developing data analytic solutions required
  • Experience with SQL and understanding of relational databases preferred
  • Excellent organization and communication (written and verbal) skills required
  • Proficiency and understanding of statistical concepts required
