As a member of the Global Quality Lab Informatics (GQLI) team, this position is part of a team responsible for deployment and support of the GQL global suite of applications and their related business processes. This individual will lead the implementation, organizational change management, and integration of electronic Notebook Applications (eLN) and related processes at manufacturing sites across the globe. They will be expected to assist in coordination of deployment activities between site and global personnel, and to facilitate shared learning with the global lab community.
Global technical lead for the NuGenesis (LMS and SDMS)
• Provide leadership to the deployment and maintenance of the application, driving the successful adoption of ELN and SDMS at new and existing sites
Lead retirement of legacy applications as NextGeneration eLN and SDMS are adopted globally
Global technical lead for the NextGeneration eLN (LabVantage eLN)
• Provide leadership to the successful development and adoption of the NextGen ELN and SDMS at new and existing sites based on the LabVantage application
Communication
• Keep team updated on changes in business conditions and requirements
• Build the credibility necessary to speak for the users in the network.
Basic Qualifications
• Education: B.S. or equivalent experience in chemistry, biology, chemical engineering or related field
• Minimum 3 years laboratory experience
• Experience working in/with GMP laboratories•
Additional Skills/ Preferences
• Proficiency in planning and delivery of highly complex tasks and/or those that are highly cross-functional or cross-site in nature.
• Demonstrated ability to utilize and implement various tools, systems, and processes resulting in improved operational excellence of laboratory and business operations.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively to customers, business partners, and staff including good oral, written, and visual presentations.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply solutions to different situations by understanding customer needs and applying strong problem-solving skills
Knowledge of analytical methods, laboratory documentation and control processes.
• Strong scientific background.
• Clear understanding of quality laboratory issues and activities.
• Knowledge of cGMP and quality systems.
• Ability to work independently or in a team setting.
