Job Description
We are hiring several senior manufacturing technicians in Worcester, MA for our 2nd shift roles which include:
Monday-Friday 2pm-10:30pm, Wednesday-Saturday 4:00pm-2:30am, Sunday-Wednesday 4:00pm-2:30am
- Shipping finished materials.
- Maintaining inventory levels.
- Sampling of in process and raw materials.
- Running glass washer / autoclave.
- Buffer / media preparation.
- Equipment preparation (CIP / SIP).
- Cell culture (from vial thaw to production scale).
- Column chromatography.
- Tangential flow filtration.
Significant Work Activities -Continuous standing for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8 hour day)
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree required, with 6+ years area specific relevant experience.
- As a highly skilled specialist, contributes to the development of concepts and techniques.
- Completes complex tasks in creative and effective ways.
- Consistently works on complex assignments requiring independent action and a high degree of initiative to resolve issues.
- Makes recommendations for new procedures.
- Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments.
- Assists Supervisor in planning and leading area activities.
