We are seeking a laboratory based Sr Associate Scientist to support analytical development within the Formulation Development Group of Regeneron Pharmaceutical Inc. at Tarrytown, NY. In this exciting role, you will support and contribute to the development, optimization, qualification and transfer (internal and external) of analytical methods used in the formulation development and stability studies. In addition, this individual will support development of new analytical technologies/tools for assessing formulation and stability characterization.

A Typical Day in the Role of Sr Associate Scientist:
  • Develop, qualify, and implement analytical methods to support stability and various formulation development studies, including mABs, bispecific antibodies, ADC, fusion proteins, RNA and AAV therapeutics.
  • Maintain accurate and complete laboratory record; evaluate, interpret, and present data at group meetings.
  • Write and review technical documents supporting analytical development and regulatory filings, including analytical method procedures (SOPs), method development reports and method qualification reports

Master degree in Analytical Chemistry, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Science, Chemical or Biomedical Engineering (or related discipline), with 2+ years relevant experience, or Bachelor degree with 4+ year relevant experience in analytical development for biological drug products. Track record in developing, troubleshooting and validating analytical methods used in biopharmaceutical development, including capillary electrophoresis (CE-SDS/MCE/ iCIEF) and HPLC analysis. The ability to work independently to execute experiments, as well as interpret, document and communicate results is required. Strong understanding of ICH guidelines and familiar with analytical requirement for drug product development such as stability study, IV and SC administration is desirable. Experience with AAV and RNA therapeutic product analytical techniques is a plus. Experience with ddPCR technique is a plus. Experience in protein product characterization, degradation pathway identification and particle analysis for biological products using biochemical and biophysical tools is a plus.

Salary Range (annually)

$77,600.00 - $126,600.00
