Our lead oligonucleotide programs are in development for the potential treatment of people living with Duchenne who are exon 44, 45 and 50 skipping amenable. We have also partnered to develop a clinical-stage program, VX-670, for myotonic dystrophy type 1.

The Opportunity

Entrada Therapeutics is hiring an Associate, Portfolio Management. This individual will collaborate closely with R&D to lead early-stage program planning (through clinical candidate selection) and participate as a key business partner and resource for related operational planning.

This role will be responsible for supporting the management and advancement of early-stage activities with an emphasis on cross-functional strategy and alignment with operational plans. Reporting to the Director of Early Portfolio Management, this position will bridge Entrada’s R&D, Business, and Operation teams to drive the successful development and expansion of our Portfolio

Responsibilities

Early Portfolio Planning

  • In collaboration with research program teams, develop comprehensive discovery plans and monitor progress to ensure timely achievement of milestones.
  • Support progress of early-stage discovery programs to clinical candidate selection by maintaining project plans that include strategies, timelines, optimization of scope, tradeoffs, resources, and risks.
  • Proactively identify and raise project challenges and risks, propose contingency plans, and monitor execution of corrective actions.
  • Provide operational support to scientific teams in execution of external collaborations (Academic labs, CROs, etc.).
  • Organize high quality documents and presentations, roadmaps, deliverables, and updates as needed to support R&D program meetings.
  • Facilitate open communication and cross-functional collaboration across research teams.

Early Portfolio Governance and Operations

  • Implement early-stage program stage-gate processes in support of broader portfolio goals and milestone achievements.
  • Partner with Discovery teams in developing and maintaining program-level budgets.
  • Support operational initiatives across key pillars of Entrada’s business (e.g., R&D, Business Development/Strategy, HR, Finance, Operations, Communications).

To thrive on our team, you will need to come with:

  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in life sciences, with 5+ years of relevant biotech industry experience.
  • Strong scientific background, with working knowledge of drug discovery and development processes.
  • Experience with Smartsheet is strongly preferred.
  • Responsive and proactive, readily prioritizes to drive decision-making, and motivate teams.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines in a highly matrixed organization.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
