We are looking for a Director - Supplier Diversity who will be accountable for building and managing a supplier diversity program comprised of the following elements: consistent, proactive outreach and sourcing of small and disadvantaged suppliers, maintaining relevant databases aiding category teams to include small and disadvantaged business is competitive sourcing events, and tactical management of spend information. the incumbent will work independently to drive value for spend categories by maintaining an effective and efficient supplier diversity program.
A typical day might include:
Representing Global Procurement by participating in setting Regenerons goals for supplier diversity spend.
Researching external data sources to understand industry trends, regulations and best practices to improve Regenerons supplier diversity program and to expand Regenerons small and disadvantaged supplier network.
Advising category teams on supplier diversity efforts during category strategy development, competitive sourcing events, and supplier outreach as required.
Leading events designed to increase our network of diverse suppliers.
Ensuring relevant and accurate visualization of supplier diversity data by working closely with colleagues in the Global Procurement Center of Excellence.
Assisting sales teams with including relevant supplier diversity data in responses to RFIs/RFPs.

Can deliver a true partnership approach with Regenerons diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives to foster a culture of diversity and inclusion throughout the organization.
Have demonstrated knowledge of efficient global procurement organizations and processes within the biopharmaceutical industry to support the growth and evolution of the Global Procurement organization and will leverage this knowledge to drive improvements within Regeneron, aligned with corporate priorities.
Can establish and maintain relationships with diverse supplier organizations, industry associations, advocacy groups, and government agencies to expand the supplier base and promote supplier diversity initiatives.
Have built influential relationships with stakeholders and suppliers to drive results.
To be considered for this position, you will required to hold a bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study plus progressive experience in procurement, preferably including substantial experience in Pharma/BioPharma. The ideal candidate has working knowledge with sourcing contracting tools, ERPs, and eRFx systems and proficiency in MS Office, PowerPoint, and Excel. Significant expertise in building and/or managing a supplier diversity programs is preferred
