Associate II, Quality Assurance

The Role:
Moderna is seeking a Quality Assurance Associate II for a position based at their Norwood, MA manufacturing site and will directly support the growing area of Individualized Neoantigen Therapy (INT). The main responsibility for this position is to provide batch record review before disposition of products to patients. Strong decision-making skills and independent thinking will be paramount for candidate success. The individual will work closely with Manufacturing, Quality Control, and Facility teams.

This position is 1st shift, Sunday Wednesday or Wednesday Saturday.

Heres What Youll Do:

• Participate in quality focused teams across Modernas broad ecosystem of functions.

• Oversee and review executed electronic and paper batch record documentation and support disposition activities.

• Enforce adherence to current good manufacturing practices, standard operating procedures, and manufacturing documentation.

• Follow written procedures for the clear and accurate documentation of equipment operation and process instructions, and of process data.

• Monitor process operations to ensure compliance with specifications.

• Practice safe work habits and adhere to Modernas safety procedures and guidelines.

• Utilize knowledge to improve operational efficiency.

• Participate in Continuous Improvement projects

• Write, update and revise SOPs/Procedures.

Heres What Youll Bring to the Table:

• 0-2+ years experience in a GMP manufacturing environment with a Bachelors degree in Biology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biomechanical Engineering, Bioengineering, Biomedical Engineering, Biochemistry or related field
