Scientist (Oncology)

We are seeking a highly motivated Scientist to join our Oncology Group. Your research will focus on the development of novel therapies for cancer treatment. As part of the team, you will contribute to both the preclinical development of these therapies and to better understand their mechanism of action with genetic (e.g., CRISPR) approaches.

In this Scientist role, a typical day may include:

• Independently design and perform experiments that employ a range of molecular and cellular methods.

• Analyze and record the data; present findings at internal research meetings.

• Critically analyze scientific literature.

• Evaluate and implement new technologies.

This role may be for you if:

• You would like to do hands-on bench work.

• You are hardworking, highly organized with a strong attention to detail, flexible, and able to function effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• You have the ability to multitask and to perform laboratory work on multiple projects simultaneously.

• You have excellent communication skills and can work well in a team.

To be considered for this role you must have a BS/MS plus 8 years of relevant experience. Expertise with in vitro tissue culture and mouse handling or in vivo tumor studies. Experience with cell/molecular biology assays, flow cytometry and CRISPR is a plus.

$88,500.00 - $144,500.00
