As an Associate Director, Medical Communications, you will join Regeneron’s Omnichannel Medical Communications team to optimally plan and identify content gaps to ensure development of appropriate content designed for channel and customer needs. The role will support our Hematology/Oncology and General Medicines therapeutic areas and relevant focus-area knowledge as needed. You will provide effective and consistent medical communications dependent on maintaining the messaging, tone, look and feel of content and communications crafted to focus on Medical Affairs Therapeutic Areas reputation and identity. This role will be accountable for enhancing the visibility of therapeutic areas by creating and delivering effective content by using multiple channel mix.

A typical day may include:
•    Participating as a member of Integrated Medical Communications Strategy Planning team collaborating with Global Medical Communications developing strategic content for tactical dissemination.
•    Establishing channel content operational processes, help select tools/technologies for project management and asset-storage and develop overhead budget.
•    Collaborating with the Omnichannel team and designated vendors in designing and conducting research to gain an understanding of audience awareness/perception, as needed.
•    Leading assigned projects setting objectives, compiling project plans, establishing timelines, project/budget management, compliance, and vendor oversight as needed.
•    Identifying and engage appropriate internal and external resources for the execution of approved plans.
•    Analyzing data in collaboration with Omnichannel team to forecast and measure the impact of channel content and campaign efforts.
•    Being responsible for the preparation and submission process of new materials to Medical Review Committee
•    Coordinating the creation of content that is both memorable and meaningful for audience engagement across multiple channels.
•    Working cross-functionally with colleagues across legal, compliance, finance, accounts payable, etc. 
•    Adhering to established policies, procedures, processes, and systems

To be considered for this you must have a bachelor’s degree and/or Advanced Degree (PharmD, PhD, MD) as well as >8 years of proven experience in the pharmaceutical industry and/or in a medical communications organization. Work conducted with or for Medical Affairs is required. General management and client-relationship management experience, as well as a keen eye for detail and an appetite for innovation. Experience managing projects and/or content teams through all stages of discovery to execution is required. Your experience needs to include a working understanding of project management systems. Experience with budgeting and reporting, strong organizational, leadership skills, outstanding critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. 

This position requires you to be onsite at least 2 days a week in our Sleepy Hollow, NY location.

The salary ranges provided are shown in accordance with U.S. law and apply to U.S. based positions, where the hired candidate will be located in the U.S. If you are outside the U.S, please speak with your recruiter about salaries and benefits in your location.

Salary Range (annually)

$148,100.00 - $241,700.00
